Mudeungsan Milli Parkı Güney Kore’nin Jeollanam Eyaleti'ndeki Gwangju kentinde bulunan, adını 1,187-metre (3,894 ft) Mudeung dağından alan 2012 yılında 21.Milli Park ila edilen bir alandır.Mudeungsan, 75.452 km’lik bir alana sahiptir.Gwangju’ya nazır(bakan) Mudeungsan Parkı, Cheınwang-bong zirvesinde yeşil dağ manzarası menziliyle, iyi imzalı gelişmiş ağlara sahip rotaları ve mil uzakta görülen Ipseokdae,Seoseokdae adındaki yüksekteki kayalara sahiptir. Neyse ki, Mudeungsan içinde yollar oldukça uzun ve kademelidir. Kore savaşında tahrip edildikten sonra yeniden inşa edilen üç büyük Budist tapınağı vardır. Mt.Mudeungsan(1,186m) doruklarında ‘Jeongsang Three’ adı verilen Cheonwangbong, Jiwangbong, ve Inwangbong isimli üç kaya bulunmaktadır. Mudeungsan’nın en aşağı eğiminden tanrıya adanmış dağ olarak bilinen Cheonwangbong Peak doruklarına tırmanış herkes için kolaydır.Yerliler Cheonwangbong tepesinde tapınırlardı. Siteler arasında Seoseokdae, zirvede Gyubong ve dağın dibinde Ipseokdae noktaları vardır. Yaksaam, Jeungsimsa ve Wonhyosa olmak üzere görkemli birçok tapınak bulunmaktadır.

Mudeung Dağı, yıl boyunca oluşan güzelliğiyle, dağlarda kış, kar ve buz içinde nefis bir sahne oluşturur ve bununla bilinen bir yerdir. Aşağıda güneş parlar, bitki ve ağaçların çok yeşil bahar; kış kahverengi kendi bukalemun gibi değişim tamamlar. Aşağıda ise zirveye çıkanlar için dinlenme tesisleri, Gwangju Ulusal Müzesi, geleneksel Kore evleriyle sergi alanları bulunmaktadır. Sergilenen bu ürünler Sina Denizi’nden çıkarılan 2.000 eser toplamını içerir. Honam şehrinden (Joseon,Baekje ve Silla döneminde yapılan) ve Joseon dönemi resimlerinden de ürünler burada bulunur. Küçük ama süslü tapınaklarla, 1710'dan kalma bronz çanın bulunduğu gösterişli bir bahçe de vardır. Ayrıca Jeungsim-sa; ana salonun arkasında önemsiz görünen türbe içinde yer alan Shilla dönemi eseri altın-kırmızı Buda heykeli güneydedir.

Wonhyo-sa ile başlayan popüler rota; Seoseokdae ve Ipseokdae’e tırmanış, en aşağıda Jeungsim-sa ve Uijae sonrasında en aşağıda otobüs durakları toplamda 5 saat almaktadır. Uijae’deki otobüs durağına giden yol,modern restoranlar,cafeler,açık alış-veriş merkezleri ile gelişmiş bir parktır. Wonhyo-sa’da (her yirmi dakikada) otobüs bulabilirsiniz.

Mudeungsan National Park is located in the city of Gwangju and the province of Jeollanam-do, South Korea. It was designated as the 21st national park in 2012. It is named after the 1,187-metre (3,894 ft) mountain Mudeungsan, Mudeungsan was upgraded as Korea National Park in 2012. Mudeungsan area is 75.452㎢. Overlooking Gwangju, Mudeungsan National Park is a gorgeous green mountain range with a spider’s web of well-signed trails leading to the peak, Cheonwang-bong , and up to the towering rocky outcrops called Ipseokdae and Seoseokdae that are visible from miles away.Fortuanately,the trails in mudeungsan were pretty long and gradual. There are three major Buddhist temples in the park, most of which were rebuilt after being destroyed in the Korean War.Mt. Mudeungsan (1,186m) features three rock peaks called Cheonwangbong, Jiwangbong, and Inwangbong, also known as the “Jeongsang Three." Cheonwangbong Peak as it was considered a mountain of God,. Mudeungsan’s gradual slope makes it an easy climb for all. Locals once worshiped Cheonwangbong Peak. Among the more majestic of these sites are the Seoseokdae, Gyubong, and Ipseokdae peaks. At the base of the mountain are several famous temples including Yaksaam, Jeungsimsa, and Wonhyosa.

Mt. Mudeungsan is also known for its beauty throughout the year.,the fall autumn leaves of Gyubongam and Eoksae grass of Baekma ridge is quite spectacular.In the winter, snow and ice on the mountains create exquisite scenery as well. Down at the bottom,the sun was shining,many of the plants and trees had complated their chameleon-like cahange from winter Brown to spring gren. Below the mountain, there is a variety of recreational facilities and tourists sites for visitors. This includes the Gwangju National Museum, a traditional Korean style building with exhibition space and artifacts on display. These items total 2,000 artifacts and include treasures excavated from the sea of Sinan, items from Honam province (made during the Jeonseo, Baekje, and Silla periods), and paintings from the Joseon Period. The small but ornate temple has a sculpture garden with several bronze figures standing sentry and a fabulous bronze bell dating to 1710. Further south is Jeungsim-sa , the park’s largest temple with a Shilla-era iron Buddha backed by red-and-gold artwork, housed in an insignificant-looking shrine behind the main hall.

A popular route is to begin at Wonhyo-sa, climb up to Seoseokdae and Ipseokdae, down past Jeungsim-sa and Uijae, and then down to the bus stop; the hike takes about five hours .The road leading from the bus stop to Uijae has been newly developed, with modern restaurants, cafes and way too many outdoor-clothing stores. Wonhyo-sa; you can catch the bus (₩1200, every 20 minutes)
