'Avengers 3' Draws 3 Million Moviegoers in 4 Days

'Avengers 3' 4 Gün İçinde 3 Milyon Seyirciyi Kendine Çekti

Hollywood'un gişe rekortmeni " Avengers: Infinity War", dört gün önce yayınlanmasından bu yana Cumartesi sabahı elde edilen son verilere göre Güney Kore'de üç milyondan fazla film izleyicisini kendisine çekti.

Filmin, Kore dağıtıcı şirketi Walt Disney Company'ye göre bu rakamlara ulaşıldığı söyleniyor.

Avengers, kazanılmış olan üçüncülük hakkından sonra sadece dört gün içinde bilet satışlarında Güney Kore'de üç milyonu geçebilen dördüncü film oldu.

Daha önceki üçü " Avengers: Age of Ultron " ve iki Koreli film: 2014'te " Roaring Currents " ve geçen sene "A Taxi Driver" filmleri bu listenin başında yer aldılar.

Her üçü de on milyondan fazla film izleyicisi tarafından izlendi.

"Infinity War", süper kahraman güdümlü Marvel Stüdyolarının onuncu yıldönümünü kutluyor ve en az 23 süper kahramanı da bu filmde bir araya getirir.

Hollywood blockbuster "Avengers: Infinity War" has attracted three million moviegoers in South Korea as of Saturday morning since its release four days ago.

This is according to the film's distributor, Walt Disney Company Korea.

The third installment of the Avengers franchise is only the fourth ever film in South Korea to top the three million mark in ticket sales in just four days.

The three in the past were "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015 and two Korean films: "Roaring Currents" in 2014 and "A Taxi Driver" last year.

All three of them were watched by over ten million moviegoers.

"Infinity War" marks the tenth anniversary of superhero-driven Marvel Studios, and brings together no fewer than 23 superheroes in one movie.

Film '1987' Scoops Up 4 Prizes at Baeksang Arts Awards

'1987' Filmi Baeksang Sanat Ödülleri'nde 4 Ödül Kazandı

Yıllık Baeksang Sanat Ödülleri perşembe akşamı güney Seoul'de en iyi televizyon ve film yapımlarını kutlayarak başladı.

54. tören, filmler için 12 ve televizyon için 14 kategoride ödül verdi.

Film kısmında, politik gerilim filmi "1987: When the Day Comes" Büyük Ödül'le birlikte En İyi Senaryo ödülünü de aldı.

Kim Yoon-seok filmdeki rolüyle En İyi Film Oyuncusu ödülünü kazanırken Park Hee-sun da En iyi Yardımcı Oyuncu ödülünü aldı.

Film için, 1987 yılında Güney Kore'de gerçekleşen Haziran demokrasi ayaklanmasına yol açan olaylardan esinlenilmiştir.

The annual Baeksang Arts Awards kicked off on Thursday evening in southern Seoul, celebrating the best television and film productions.

The 54th ceremony presented awards for 12 categories for movies and 14 for television.

In the movie section, political thriller "1987: When the Day Comes" scooped up the Grand Prize as well as Best Screenplay.

Kim Yoon-seok won Best Film Actor for his role in the movie, with Park Hee-sun also winning the top supporting actor award.

The film is based on the events that led up to the June democratic uprising in 1987 in South Korea.

The Best Director award went to Kim Yong-hwa who directed "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" while "The Fortress" won Best Film.

"The Spy Gone North" ve "Nameless Gangster:Rules of the Time" (2012) yönetmeni Yoon Jong-bin, mayısta gerçekleşen 71. Cannes Film festivalinde gösterilen Midnight Screenings bölümünde ayakta alkışlanmıştı.

Hoşa giden detaylara dayanarak, gelecek filmin hakları Amerika, ASya ve Avrupa'daki Singapur, Vietnam, Endonezya, Fransa, Polonya, Britanya ve İspanya gibi ülkelere satıldı açıklaması geldi CJ E&M'den.

Avusturalya, Yeni Zelanda, Hong Kong, Japonya ve Tayvan'da ise vizyon tarihi henüz belli değil.

Domestic spy thriller "The Spy Gone North" has been sold to 111 countries around the world, the film's local distributor said Thursday.

Directed by Yoon Jong-bin of "Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time" (2012), "The Spy Gone North" premiered to a standing ovation in the Midnight Screenings section of the 71st Cannes Film Festival in May.

Based on favorable reviews, the rights to the forthcoming film have been sold to distributors in Americas and Asian and European countries like Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, France, Poland, Britain and Spain, according to CJ E&M.

Dates for theatrical release are under discussion in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan, it added.

Starring Hwang Jung-min, Lee Sung-min, Cho Jin-woong and Ju Ji-hoon, the film tells the story of a South Korean spy who goes undercover as a businessman in North Korea in the 1990s to infiltrate its nuclear facilities using the codename "Black Venus." He is plagued by an inner conflict after observing the two Koreas' leaders making a secret deal to prevent liberal candidate Kim Dae-jung from winning the 1997 South Korean presidential election.

Meanwhile, "Herstory" starring Kim Hee-ae has been exported to eight regions -- Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Australia and New Zealand -- its local distributor said.

The film is already scheduled to open on July 26 or 27 in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan, Next Entertainment World said.

Directed by Min Kyu-dong, best known for "All About My Wife" (2012) and "All for Love" (2005), the courtroom drama is based on a real-life reparation trial filed in the 1990s in Shimonoseki, Japan, by a group of 10 Korean women forced into sex slavery or labor for World War II Japanese soldiers.

The court trial that lasted six years produced a meaningful ruling that ordered the Japanese government to compensate the victims for the first time in history.

"Herstory" debuted at No. 3 in the local box office, drawing an audience of 44,000 on the opening day.

Organizatörlerin perşembe günü yaptığı açıklamaya göre, kendi bakış açısını filmlerine yansıtan Güney Koreli yönetmen Hong Sang-soo'nun son filmi "Hotel by the River" bu yıl İsviçre'de gerçekleşecek olan Locarno Uluslararası Film Festivali'ne katılacak.

71. düzenlenen festivalde 15 film bulunuyor.

Bu Hong'un festivale katılan 23. ve ilham perisi ve sevgilisi olan Kim Min-hee'nin başrolde olduğu 6.filmi. Siyah beyaz film, orta yaşlardaki bir adamın, nehir kenarında iki genç kadın ve çocuğuyla karşılaştığında neler olduğunu anlatıyor.

Hong, "Our Sunhi" ile aynı festivalde 2013 yılında En İyi Yönetmen ve "Right Now, Wrong Then." ile de Altın Leopar ödülünü kazanmıştı. Aynı filmle başrol oyuncusu Jung Jae-young En İyi Aktör ödülüne layık görülmüştü.

South Korean auteur Hong Sang-soo's latest film "Hotel by the River" will compete in this year's Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland, organizers said Thursday.

The festival announced a line-up of 15 features competing in its 71st edition.

"Hotel by the River" is the 23rd feature from Hong and the director's sixth film starring his muse and lover Kim Min-hee. The black-and-white film depicts what happens to a middle-aged man when he meets his child and two young women by a river.

Hong won the Best Director award at the same festival in 2013 for "Our Sunhi" and the top Golden Leopard award for

"Right Now, Wrong Then." The same film also earned its male lead Jung Jae-young the Best Actor prize.

This year's festival will run from Aug. 1-11 in the Swiss city of Locarno.
