Bu Gyeongju şehri Nawon-ri'de 5 katlı taş bir pagodadır.

Gyeongju taş pagodaları arasında Gameunsaji taş pagoda ve Goseonsaji taş pagodadan sonra en büyük boyutu gözler önüne sermektedir.

Bin yıl geçmesine rağmen hala saf beyaz rengi içermektedir.

Bu yüzden de 'Nawonbaektap Pagoda' olarak adlandrılırı.

Ayrıca, tüm bölümler arasındaki orantı beyaz granir taşıyla öylesine uyum içinde ki pagoda hala yepyeni görünüyor.

Pagoda, 2 katlı platform üzerine 5 katlı tapınak gövdesi olacak biçimde şekillendirilmiştir.

En büyük özelliği, en üst ve en alt platformları oluşturan ilk kat gövde ile birinci ve ikinci tavan taşları dşında tüm pagodanın tek bir taştan oluşmasıdır.

Pagoda vücudunun alt ve üst platformları ve gövdesinde sütun şeklinde oymalar vardır.

Çatı taşı üzerinde rüzgar çanı asmak için küçük bir delik bırakılır.

Tavan taşının eğimli tarafındaki köşeler (4 köşe) çok keskindir ve bitimleri yavaş yavaş yükselir biçimdedir. Böylece, pagoda aydınlık görünmektedir.

Tavan taşı desteği, 5 aşamada yapılmıştır.

Sadece taşlı tabanın süslemesi ile taşlı desteğin süslemesi, en üstte, sol tarafta bulunmaktadır.

Pagoda, vadinin yüksek bölümünde yer almaktadır. Bu nedenle, çevre üzerinde oldukça etkili bir duruş sergilemektedir.

Saf beyaz granitin tazeliği ile oldukça uyumlu olan pagoda, harikulade bir işçilik örneğidir.

Bu 5 katlı taş pagoda Gyeongju çevresinde nadiren görülür.

Pagodanın 8. yüzyıl civarında inşaa edildiği tahmin edilmektedir.

It is a 5-story stone pagoda in Nawon-ri, Gyeongju-si City.

It shows off the largest size next to Gameunsaji stone pagoda and Goseonsaji stone pagoda among stone pagodas in Gyeongju.

It still contains its pure white color even though it has gone through a millennium.

So it is also called as 'Nawonbaektap Pagoda'.

And the proportion among all parts is so harmonious with the white granite that the pagoda looks new and fresh.

The figure of the pagoda is that the 5-story pagoda body stands on the 2-story platform.

The characteristic of the pagoda is that the whole pagoda is made of a single stone except the upper and lower platforms, one-story pagoda body, and the first and second roof stones.

The upper and lower platforms and the core of the pagoda body have the pillar-shaped carvings.

A small hole to hang a wind-bell is left on the roof stone.

The four corners on the slant side of the roof stone are sharp and their ends are slightly raised, so the pagoda looks light.

The support of the roof stone is made of 5 steps.

Only the broken base of stupa finial and the broken support of the stupa finial are left on the top.

The pagoda stands on a high position of the valley, so it looks imposing enough to overwhelm the surroundings.

The pagoda is a beautiful work in that the dignity of the pagoda is well harmonious with the freshness of the pure white granite.

It is a 5-story stone pagoda that is rarely seen in the neighborhood of Gyeongju.

It is presumed that the pagoda was built around the 8th century.

The pagoda has a well-organized structure and well-proportioned beauty.
