Tablo releases ‘Part 2′ of “Fever’s End”

Ten days ago, Tablo released ‘Part 1′ of his solo album, “Fever’s End“. On November 1st, he finally followed up with ‘Part 2‘, which holds the remaining five tracks of his album.

In ‘Part 2′, fans will find the now-popular track “Tomorrow” featuring Big Bang‘s Taeyang, as well as four other beautifully crafted songs that speaks to Tablo’s poetic talents.

Tablo’s ‘Fever’s End’ grabs #2 & #5 on the Billboard World Album chart

It looks like the fever really is over for talented rapper Tablo. It’s been announced that ‘Part 2′ of his new album, ‘Fever’s End‘, has ranked #2, while ‘Part 1′ ranked #5 on Billboard’s World Album chart!

Receiving praise from veteran singers, ‘Fever’s End’ has also enjoyed great commercial success. Its singles have been ranking high on the weekly Gaon chart, and the album itself made it to the top of the iTunes Hip-Hop Album charts in both Canada and the U.S.

While other Korean artists have ranked in the top, there has never been a case of having two albums from the same artist ranking in the top 10 simultaneously on the Billboard’s World Album Chart.

Congratulations, Tablo!

Aside from his limited ‘Fever’s End’ promotions, Tablo will also be performing at the ’15th Anniversary YG Family Concert’, held this coming December.

Winners from the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards

On November 29th, Mnet hosted its 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards (‘MAMA‘) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, attracting stars and performers from both Korea and around the world.

This year, the awards ceremony tried out something new by having 20 presenters instead of official MCs to host the show. These presenters were comprised of Korea’s top actors and TV personalities, who helped distribute the awards to the winning artists.

Tablo ranks #5 on MTV Iggy’s top 20 debut albums
It’s no secret that Tablo’s ‘Fever’s End’ has been praised highly by legendary Korean musicians as well as fans within Korea and overseas. As a result, his albums (both Part 1 and Part 2) have swept domestic as well as international charts such as iTunes and Billboard’s World Album Chart.

Tablo snagged another achievement recently after MTV Iggy crowned his album in 5th place on their ‘Best Beginnings: 2011 in 20 Debut Albums’ chart, which ranks the top 20 albums released this year all over the world.

Also on the list at #4 was a Korean indie band, The Koxx.

Big Bang, 2NE1, and Se7en fly to Japan today for YG Family Concert

The YG Family Concert is now held in Japan.

YG Entertainment’s artists are holding 15th Anniversary YG Family Concert in Japan on January 7 and 8. The concerts are scheduled to be held at Osaka Kyocera Dome on January 7 and 8 and at Saitama Super Arena on January 21 and 22. About 160,000 audiences are expected to attend.

YG artists, including Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Jinusean, Psy, Gummy, and Tablo, went to Japan on January 6.

Because all five members of Big Bang are performing at the concert, Japanese fans are even more excited to attend the concert.

The YG Family Concert is YG’s brand concert that has lasted since 1997, the year the agency was first founded.
