Ogeum Dağı'nın zirvesinin güneyindeki küçük bir vadiyi çevreleyen bu dağ kalesi duvarı toprak ve taş ile yapılmıştır.
Kalıntıların burada bulunmasından yola çıkılarak, bu duvarın 6. yüzyılın sonlarıyla 7. yüzyılın başları arasında inşa edilmiş olduğu düşünülmektedir.
"Ogeumsanseong" ya da "Bodeokseong" diye bilinen bu duvardan günümüze güney kapısının yeri, duvarın kapısının ve yapının arazisinin altından geçen bir çayın yeri ve inşaat alanı kalmıştır. Bir belgeye göre, "Badeok duvarı" adının kullanıldığıyla ilgili hiçbir kanıt yoktur; çünkü Badeok Kralı Anseong 670'te Iksan'a yerleşmiş ve 684'e kadar burayı Badeok'un başkenti yapmıştır. İki kez kazıldıktan sonra bulunan kalıntıların çoğu topraktan yapılmış kase parçaları ve çini parçalarıdır.
Bunlar geç Baekje Devri, Birleşik Silla Dönemi ve Goryeo Hanedanlığı diye sınıflandırılmışlardır.
Ancak onların belli başlı türleri geç Baekje Devri'ne aittir.
Kazılarak çıkarılan kalıntılardan hareketle, bu duvarın Baekje'nin genişleme döneminde yapılmış olduğu ve uzun zamandan beri kullanılıyormuş gibi göründüğü hükmüne varılabilir.
Aynı zamanda bu duvarın çevresinde burayı daha değerli yapan tunçtan kalıntılar da bulunmuştur.

Surrounding a small valley to the south of the top of Mt. Ogeumsan, this mountain fortress wall was made with earth and stone.
Judged from the relics found here, it is considered the wall built in between the late 6th and in the early 7th Century.
It is called the wall of "Ogeumsanseong" or "Bodeokseong", at present there remain the site of the southern gate, the site for a streamlet to run below the wall gate and the site of building. According to a report, there is no reason about it that the name "the wall of Bodeok" used because King Anseung of the Bodeok settled down in Iksan in 670 and made it a capital of the Bodeok until 684. The relics found after the excavation two times are most pieces of bowls and pieces of tiles made of earth.
Those are classified into the late Baekje Era, the Unified Silla Era and the Goryeo Dynasty.
But the main kinds of them are belonged to the late Baekje Era.
Judged from the excavated relics, this wall seemed to be built in the expansion period of Baekje and used for a long time.
Also around the wall the bronze relics were found, which makes it more valuable.
