Bu halk oyunu, güçlü üç liderin zaferlerini ve Goryeo Krallığı'nın kurucusu Wang Geon'a yardım eden Andong halkını anmak için oynanmıştır. Oyun katılımcıları, iki tarafa ayrılmıştır. Dongchaessaum on lunar 15 was held by young men who wished to be blessed with bumper crops. This folk game commemorated the victory in which three powerful local leaders and the Andong people helped Wang Geon, the founder of the Goryeo Kingdom to thwart Gyeonhyeon's attack of Andong in the early Goryeo Kingdom period.The participants of the game were divided into two sides and if a leader or his rod fell down to the ground, the game was over and the winners enjoyed their victory by throwing their shoes to the sky and going around the village. This was usually played in the spacious Nakdong riverside or in an open field.
