Jeju Şehirlerarası Otobüs Terminalinden, Seogwipo yönüne otobüse binin ve 50 dakikalık yolculuğun ardından Jungmun Resort’de inin. 5-10 dakika Yeomiji Botanik Bahçesi girişine yürüyün. Yada Otobüs terminalinden taksiyle 30-40 dakikada buraya ulaşabilirsiniz.

"Tanrı'nın Gölü" anlamına gelen Cheonjeyeon Şelalesi (천제연폭포), üç bölümden oluşur. Şelalenin etrafında 'solipnan' sazlığı gibi nadir görülen türde bitkiler gelişmektedir. Doğuya doğru, tavanından soğuk suyun dökülüp şelale yaptığı bir mağara bulunur. İlk şelaleden akan su ikinci ve üçüncü şelaleleri oluşturup denize karışır. Cheonjeyeon Vadisi’nde, bir köşesinde 7 su perisinin oyulu olduğu Seonimgyo Köprüsü ile sekiz köşeli Cheonjeru Kulesi bulunur. Seonimgyo’nun diğer adı Chilseonyeogyo (yedi periler) olarak bilinir ve bu köprü Cheonjeyeon ile Jungmum Turist Tesisi’ni bağlar. Cheonjeru Kulesinin yüzeyini Cheonjeyeon’un periler ve dağ tanrısıyla ilgili olan efsaneyi betimleyen bir resim süsler. Burada iki yılda bir Chilseonyeo Festivali gerçekleştirilir.

Directions: From Jeju Airport Take Airport Limosine Bus No. 600 that goes via Jungmun and Seogwipo and get off at Yeomiji Botanical Garden (15 min interval / 50 min ride). Walk 5-10 min to the entrance of Yeomiji Botanical Garden. Purchase tickets there. Or, taxi takes 30-40 min from Jeju Airport.

From Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal, Take Seogwipo bound intercity bus and get off at Jungmun Resort (50 min ride). Walk 5-10 min to the entrance of Yeomiji Botanical Garden. Or taxi takes 30-40 min from the bus terminal.

Introduction

Cheonjeyeon Falls (천제연폭포), named 'The pond of God', consists of 3 parts. Around the falls, a variety of plant life thrives, such as the rare ‘solipnan’ reeds. To the east, there is a cave where cold water pours from the ceiling to create a waterfall. The water from the first waterfall becomes the second and third waterfalls and flows into the sea. In Cheonjeyeon Valley, there is the “Seonimgyo Bridge” (arch bridge that has 7 nymphs carved on the side) and the octagonal “Cheonjeru tower”. The Seonimgyo is also called “Chilseonyeogyo”(meaning seven nymphs) and it connects Cheonjeyeon with the Jungmun Tourist Complex. On the surface of the Cheonjeru Tower, there is a painting that tells Cheonjeyeon’s legend of the nymph and mountain god. Every even-year in May, the Chilseonyeo Festival is held here.
