Cheongju Şehir Amblemi



Kültürel ve sanatsal anlamda, bol tarihi eserleri ile yeşil çevrede mutlu bir hayat yaşamak ve enerjik olmak anlamına gelir.

Şehrin Ambleminin Üst Yarısı: Amblemin üst yarısının görüntüsü Cheongju vatandaşlarının 21. yüzyılda gelişen köy toplumunu sembolize etmektir.

Şehrin Ambleminin Alt Yarısı: Amblemi alt yarısının görüntüsü metal türü baskı ile dünyada ilk kez Cheongju'da kullanılan yerin prestij gereği şehrin kültürünü sembolize etmektir. Aslında bu tür M.S. 1.337'de basılmış eski bir Budist kitabı 'Jikji'de keşfedilmiştir.


Jamodori Olarak Adlandırılan Maskot Karakter


Jamodori iki kelimenin birleşmesiyle oluşur; Jamo çocuklar bir genetik isim, dori ise harfler anlamına gelir. Bu çağrışım ile, Jamodori karakteri dünyanın baskı tarihinde ilk kez metal baskı türleri tarafından basılan "Jikji" adlı Budist metnini ürettiği için Cheongju kültürünü sembolize etmektir.

Emblem of Cheongju City

It means to stand for a beautiful metropolis of green environment with cultural and artistic tradition and abundant historic relics with, of course, energetic community rejoicing in happy life.

The upper half of the city emblem: The image of the upper half of the emblem is to symbolize the firm will of Cheongju citizens to meet the developing society of the 21 century of the world village.

The lower half of the city emblem: The image of the lower half of the emblem is to symbolize the cultural background of Cheongju city rejoicing in the prestige of the place where the metal type printing was used for the first time in the world by means of the discovered an ancient Buddhist text book of 'Jikji' actually printed in 1337 A.D. .

Character of Mascot / named as Jamodori

Jamodori is a word combined with two words; Jamo means alphabets or letters, while -dori for a genetic appellation of kids. With this connotation, the character of Jamodori is to symbolize the cultural background of Cheongju to have produced the Buddhist text named "Jikji", printed by metal printing types for the first time in the world printing history.

In korean culture, the magpie is called the beautiful bird of good luck. Upon spotting one you should expect good news to follow soon after. The Magpie is loved very much by every Korean and symbolizes the friendly and well-mannered attitude of the citizens and the city's cultural and educational aspects.

Cheongju iyi iklime sahip güzel bir şehirdir. Cheongju Seoul'ün 128km güneydoğusunda bulunan bir iç şehirdir.
40 km sınırları içinde bulunan Daejeon, Cheonan, Goesan ve Boeun bitişik ve 2-3 saat uzaklıkta olan Gwuangju, karadan ve havadan Cheongju'ye girişte Busan ve Jeju'ya 119.6 km uzakta olan Cheongju kavşağından geçer. Cheongju a beautiful city with a good climate. Cheongju is an inland city located 128km from southeast of Seoul. It adjoins Daejeon, Cheonan, Goesan and Boeun with in 40km and is 2-3 hours away from Gwuangju, Busan and Jeju by land and air, The entrance into Cheongju is through the Cheongju Interchange, which is 119.6kms. away from Seoul. At the Gyeongbu Expressway, a 5km, tree-lined tunnel warmly welcomes you. Mt. Uam covers the city and Musimcheon passes through its center downtown. It is known as the "city of education and culture." It is a center of politics, economics, education, culture and tourism as well as administration, with the provincial office of North Chungcheong Province located here.

O dönemde stratajik bir askeri nokta ve coğrafi önemi nedeniyle Üç Krallığın birleşmesi döneminde Silla'nın yerel yönetim merkezi haline geldi, 5 küçük başkentten biri olan Seowongyeong olarak anıldı.

Koryo Hanedanlığı Kral Taejo'nun tahta çıkışının 23 yılından (940) bu yana Cheongju adıyla bilinmektedir. Chosun Hanedanlığı döneminde geliştirilen su ulaşım yolu olan Chungju'nun ortaya çıkması ile Cheongju nispeten daha yavaş bir gelişme göstermiştir. Ancak 1905 yılında demiryolu hattının açılması ile 1908 yılında Chungju önemini Cheongju'ya devretmiştir.

1926 yılında Chungbuk yolunun açılması ile bölgede kalkınma sağlanmıştır. 1946 yılında Cheongju ve Cheongwon-gun birbirinden ayrılmış ve 1949 yılında Cheongju şehrinde nispeten yükselme görülmüştür.

Throughout its history, Cheongju has been boasting of its beautiful sceneries and prosperous culture. It is indeed a beautiful city of education and culture, and a place of loyalty, filial piety and courtesy, with the importance it places on studies and manners and where the world's top metal book. named "Jikjisimcheyojeol" was printed. Cheongju was Mahan in the era of Samhan and, afterwards, belonged to Sangdang-hyun of Baekje. It was a strategic military point; and after Silla's unification of the three kingdoms, it was appointed as Seowongyeong, one of 5 small capitals, due to its geographical importance, thereby becoming the center of local administration.

On the 23rd year of King Taejo, during Koryo Dynasty (940), it was re-named Cheongju, by which it has since been known. With the emergence of Chungju as a traffic hub and with water transportation developed during the Chosun Dynasty, Cheongju showed relatively slower development, but with the opening of the Gyeongbu-line railway in 1905, its

superintendence office was transferred from Chungju to Cheongju in1908. The opening of the Chungbuk-line in 1926 sparked regional development. In 1946, Cheongju and Cheongwon-gun were separated, and in 1949, Cheongju was upgraded to Cheongju City. Afterwards, it went through the separation of administrative dong and their transfer to Cheongwon-gun, with 2 branch offices (East and West)established in July 1989 that were upgraded to Sangdang-gu and Heungdeok-gu in January 1995.
