Buyeo is located at the southern area of Chungcheongnam-do, the heart of the Korean peninsula, and has the same longitude as Windam, Australia and the same latitude as Tokyo.

Mid-located region of Korea has mild weather with an annual average temperature of 12.4 ˚C. The average temperature is 0.4 ˚C in winter season and 24.6 ˚C in summer. The annual average precipitation is 1388.4 mm.

Buyeo county has held cultural festival featuring ancient Baekje's history which was bloomed in Buyeo and its neighborhood area since 1955 by residents themselves. From 1965, province officially announced to take place Baekje cultural memorial.

Main events of festival include memorial as ancient history showing traditional costumes and marching. That concerns specially for the great work of 6 Kings of Sabi era and to applaud the loyalty of 3 loyal subjects.

This festival was appointed as one of the national best festivals in 2007.
