Blue Dragon Film Ödülleri, yıllık Güney Kore filmleri etkinliğidir. 1963 yılında Sports Chosun gazetesi tarafından oluşturulmuştur.
Blue Dragon Film Ödülleri'nde sadece filmleri ve yüksek sanatsal değeri olan ve bir önceki yıl yayımlanan popüler filmler değerlendirilir.
Seçim işlemi sırasında, kesin liste yapılır ve yaklaşık kırk film halka ücretsiz test ettirilir. Her seçimden sonra ödül töreni açılır.

Ödül töreninden bir hafta önce, önceki yılın ödül sahipleri, bir el izi olayı için mavi ejderha ödülünü ölümsüzleştirmek üzere toplanır.

The Blue Dragon Film Awards is an annual South Korean film award ceremony created in 1963 by The Chosun Ilbo newspaper and discontinued in 1973.
Sports Chosun, a Korean sports daily, resurrected the ceremony in 1990 and it has been held annually since then.
The Blue Dragon Film Awards considers only blockbusters and popular movies of high artistic value released during the previous year.
During the selection process, about forty movies that have made it to the final list are screened to the public for free. After the screening of each selection, the awards ceremony opens.
Other interesting categories are the Most Popular awarded to the star that received the most Netizen votes and the Most Popular Film awarded to the movie with the highest viewership
throughout the previous year. A week prior to the award ceremony, the previous year's award recipients gather for a handprint event to immortalize their Blue Dragon award.
