Yangsan-gun’un Bookjung-ri mezar grubu ile alçak bir vadinin diğer tarafındaki bu mezar grubu güneye doğru yer almaktadır.

Bukjeong-ri mezar grubu ile aynı dağılımını gösteren, daha yüksek bir alanda, sonraki bir dönemde yapılan mezarlar ve öte yandan daha düşük bir yerde, çok önceki bir zamanda yapılmış mezarlar bir araya getirilmiştir. 1990 yılında yaklaşık 30 mezar kazıldığı zaman, sadece ilk mezar genişçe ayrılmış, geride kalanlar ise diğer tüm küçük mezarlardır.

Bunların arasında, yüksek bir yerde bulunan mezarlar, aynı yapıya sahiptir ve Bukjeong-ri mezar grubunda bulunanlara benzer kalıntılardır.

Ayrıca, benzersiz bir forma sahip olan dikkat çekici bir kavanoz kabı bulunmuştur. Daha alçak bir alanda, taş mezar odası ve önü-açık mezar odası birlikte yapılmıştır.

Burada kazılan kalıntılardan olan çömlek, son dönemlere ait bir karaktere sahip olduğunu göstermekte ve Bukjeong-ri mezar grubunda ya da Gyeongju alanındaki geniş mezarlıkta yer almaktadır.

Buna dayanarak, Singi-ri mezar grubu 6.yüzyıldan 7.yüzyıla kadar uzanan Sila Dönemi’nde yapılmış gibi görünmktedir. Bu mezarlar Gaya ve Silla arasındaki kültürel değişimi incelemek için değerli bir malzemedir.

This group of tomb is located toward the south, which is on the other side of a low valley with the group of tomb of Bookjung-ri of Yangsan-gun.

In a higher area the tombs made in a later period gathered together, in the other hand in a lower place the graves made in an earlier time get together, which shows the same distribution as that of the group of tomb of Bukjeong-ri. In 1990 when about 30 tombs were excavated, only the first tomb is classified into large one but the rest ones is all small tombs.

Among them the tombs in a higher place has the same structure and relics like those found in the group of tomb of Bukjeong-ri.

Moreover, a jar coffin was found, which is noteworthy in that it has a unique form. In a lower area the stone chamber tomb and front-open chamber tomb were made together.

The pottery of the relics excavated here has a character shown in the last term of the large tomb located in Gyeongju area or in the group of tomb of Bukjeong-ri.

Judged from this, the group of tomb of Singi-ri seemed to be made from the 6th through the 7th Century in the Silla Era. Those tombs are valuable material to study the cultural interchange between the Gaya and the Silla.
