Hae-Juk ve arkadaslari gençliklerini mahallenin sakinleri olan serseriler ilen kavga etmekilen harcarlar. Onlarin yaptiklari sadece kücük seylerdir içmek ve kavga etmek, ama gerçek ask her yerde olabilir: bir gün Hae-Juk, bölgesel esrar toplayicinin güzel kizi olan Bong ja´dan etkilenir.

Ama zaman zordur, ve Bong-ja bir barda babasinin hastane faturalarini ödemek için zorla çalistirilir, Hae-Juk da her ne pahasina olursa olsun onu kurtarmaya kararlidir. Hae-juk and his friends spend their youth fighting with local villains in a wretched neighbourhood of Seoul in the early 80s. They have little to do but drink and brawl, but true love can happen anywhere: one day Hae-juk is smitten by Bong-ja, the local shit collector's beautiful daughter.

But times are hard, and when Bong-ja is forced to work in a bar to pay her father's hospital bills, Hae-juk is determined to rescue her at all costs. He and his friends trash the bar, but by then she has been handed over to a discotheque run by gangsters. The local crime boss is having problems filling his venue, so he gives Hae-juk a final offer:

If he wants Bong-ja back, he must... win the upcoming disco contest!
Hae-juk has never danced in his life but he takes the bet. He has just one week to transform himself from Bruce Lee into John Travolta. But he'll do anything to rescue the girl he loves, even if it means putting on a sequinned suit and a pair of boogie shoes...
