Yun Jiwan / 윤지완 (Elçi, Diplomat)
Yun Jiwan (1635-1718), 17. ve 18. yüzyıllar arası yaşamış Joseon Hanedanlığı'nin bir bilgin-memuruydu.
Japonya'da Tokugawa sogunlugunun 7. Edo dönem diplomatik heyetinde Joseon'un menfaatlerini korumak üzere bulunmuş bir diplomat ve elçidir.
1682 JAPONYA HEYETİ
Joseon Kralı Sukjong 1682'de Japonya'ya bir heyet göndermeye karar verdi ve Yun Jiwan'i bas temsilci olarak atadı. Bu diplomatik heyet hem Japonlara hem de Korelilere politik temellerin ticareti geliştirmede bir yol olması yönünde çalıştı.
Bu delegasyon, Joseon sarayı tarafından açıkça "Tebliğ Elçisi" (tongsinsa) olarak tayin edildi. Heyet, ilişkilerin normalleştirilmesi anlamına geliyordu.

Yun Jiwan / 윤지완 (Ambassador, Diplomat)
Yun Jiwan, (1635-1718) was a scholar-official of the Joseon Dynasty Korea in 17th century and 18th century.
He was also diplomat and ambassador, representing Joseon interests in the 7th Edo period diplomatic mission to the Tokugawa shogunate in Japan.
1682 MISSION TO JAPAN
In 1682, King Sukjong of Joseon caused a mission to be sent to Japan; and Yun Jiwan was the chief emissary. This diplomatic mission functioned to the advantage of both the Japanese and the Koreans as a channel for developing a political foundation for trade.
This delegation was explicitly identified by the Joseon court as a "Communication Envoy" (tongsinsa). The mission was understood to signify that relations were "normalized."
