Yeonggeumjeong, Sokcho-si şehrindeki Sokcho Denizfeneri’nin bulunduğu kıyı bölgesini kapsamaktadır. Yeonggeumjeong ismi, bir görüşe göre dalgaların kayalara isabet etmesiyle oluşan sesin, Geomungonun (6 telle çalınan geleneksel çalgı) melodisi ile karşılaştırılmasından gelir. Kayalık yarımadasının üzerindeki 50m uzunluğundaki köprü inşasının sonunda bulunan köşk, Doğu Denizi’nin görüntüsünü sunar.

Yeonggeumjeong için otobüs terminalinde 15 dakikada otobüs bulunur.

Sokcho Express Otobüs Terminali’nden 7, 7-1 veya 9, 9-1 yerel otobüs yolcu alır.
Sokcho Şehiriçi Otobüs Terminalinde (시외버스터미널) veya Suboktap’ta (수복탑) indirir.

Introduction
Yeonggeumjeong refers to the area covering the shore by the Sokcho Lighthouse in Sokcho-si City. The name Yeonggeumjeong comes from a notion that the sound of waves hitting the rocks is comparable to the melody of Geomungo (traditional stringed instrument with 6 strings). At the end of the 50m-long bridge built over a rocky peninsula is a pavilion offering a view of the East Sea.

Directions
From Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal, follow the signs for Yeonggeumjeong.
Yeonggeumjeong is located about 15 minutes from the bus terminal.

From Sokcho Express Bus Terminal, take the local Bus 7, 7-1, 9 or 9-1.
Get off at Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal (시외버스터미널) or Suboktap (수복탑).
