Bir efsaneye göre bu mezar, düsmani yenmek için askerlerini bambu agaçlarina dönüstürmüs, Jukgyeonreung denilen Silla'nin 13. krali Michu'nun(262-284) kalintilarini saklar. Kral Michu, Kim Al-Ji'nin soyundandir ve Silla'da ki Kim ailesinden ilk kraldir. Baekje'nin ordusunu birçok kez maglup ettikten sonra tarim endüstirisini destekledi. Bu mezar, yuvarlaktir ve toprakla doludur. 12.4 m uzunlugunda ve 56.7 m kalinligindadir. Genis tümseklikli Gyeongju sehrinin düzlüklerindeki bu mezar, antik mezarlar arasindadir. Tas tümseklerle birlikte ahsap odali bir iç yapiya sahip oldugu tahmin edilmektedir. Mezarin önünde, ruhunun kaldigina inanilan granit, tas bir yer olan Honyuseok vardir. Mezar kendisini çevreleyen essiz bir çitle korunur ve mezarin karsisindaki, ölüm levhalarinin saklandigi Sunghyejeon Shrine'ye kisa bir mesafe uzakliktadir.

Introduction
This tomb enshrines the remains of the 13th King Michu (262-284) of Silla, who was called Jukgyeonreung, according to a legend that he changed bamboo trees into soldiers to defeat the enemy. King Michu was a descendant of Kim Al-Ji, and was the first king from the Kim Clan in Silla. He promoted the agricultural industry after defeating Baekje’s army many times.This tomb is round and piled with earth, and is 12.4 m tall and 56.7 m in diameter. It is among the ancient tombs in the plains of Gyeongju City with large mounds. It is presumed that it had a wooden-chamber inner structure with stone mounds. In front of this tomb is a Honyuseok, a granite stone place where it is believed the spirit stays. A unique surrounding fence protects the tomb, and a short distance away in front of the tomb is Sunghyejeon Shrine, which enshrines the mortuary tablets.
