Shin Hye Sung (신혜성) nam-ı diğer Jung Pil Kyo (정필교) 27 Kasım 1979'da doğdu. Koreli şarkıcı, 6 üyeli SHINHWA grubunun ana vokali olarak bilinir. Sahne adı olan "Hye Sung" kuyruklu yıldız anlamına gelir.

Hyesung, Amerika'daki Brothers Entertainment aracılığı ile seçmelere katıldı ve SHINHWA'nın ilk üyesi oldu. SHINHWA ile birlikte, 24 Mart 1998 yılında ilk teklileri "해결사" (The Solver) ile KM Music Tank programında çıkışını yaptı. O zamandan beri, Shinhwa ile birlikte Korece ve Japonca birçok stüdyo albümü yayınladı.

2005: Solo Kariyeri

2005 yılında "Love of May (오월지련)" isimli solo albümü ile solo kariyerini başlattı. Bu albüm 180,000 kopya sattı ve 2005 yılı Şubat ayı HMV ön sipariş satış listesinde bir numara oldu. Hyesung ikinci albümü olan "The Beginning, New Days"i 8 Ağustos 2007'de yayınladı. "First Person" isimli şarkısı K-Pop Top 10 listelerinde 1 numaraya yerleşti. Albüm 8 Ağustos 2007'de piyasaya çıkar çıkmaz 30.000 kopya sattı ve bir hafta içinde 50.000 kopya daha sattı.

Ondan sonra 5 Korece ve bir Japonca stüdyo albümü yayınladı.

Haziran 2011'de, 5. Korece stüdyo albümünü yayınladıktan sonra, Seoul, Busan ve Sangay'da konserler verdi.

Shin Hye Sung (신혜성) was born Jung Pil Kyo (정필교) on 27 November 1979. He is a South Korean singer, known as the lead vocalist of six-member boy band Shinhwa. His stage name "Hye Sung" means comet.

Shin auditioned in America through Brothers Entertainment and was the first member to be placed into Shinhwa.[citation needed] He officially debuted as part of Shinhwa on 24 March 1998 with a performance of their first single "해결사" (The Solver) on KM Music Tank. Since then, he has released ten Korean and one Japanese studio albums with Shinhwa.

2005: Solo career

Shin debut debut as a solo artist in 2005 with the released of his solo album entitled Love of May (오월지련, 五月之戀) in 2005. This album ranked number one on the HMV pre-order sales chart in Japan in February 2005, with 180,000 copies sold. Shin released his second album, entitled The Beginning, New Days on 8 August 2007. His song, "First Person", was #1 on the K-pop Top 10 chart. His album sold 30,000 copies when it was released on 8 August 2007 and 50,000 copies sold in seven days.

He has since released five Korean and one Japanese studio albums.

In June 2011, aftering releasing his fifth Korean studio album, The Road Not Taken, Shin wrapped up a series of performances in Seoul, Busan, and Shanghai.
