Seoul Namsan Gugakdang (Geleneksel Tiyatro), Gugak Performansına adanmış Namsangol Hanok Köyü'nde bulunan bir performans salonudur. 330 kişilik salonun akustiği, aydınlatması ve sahne tesisileri ile Gugak'ın ses ve deneyimini geliştirmek adına özel olarak tasarlanmıştır. Misafirlerin Kore'de herhangi bir elektro akustik teknolojisi kullanılmadan, sadece Gugak'ın saf ve doğal sesinin keyfini çıkarabileceği bir performans salonudur. Gugakdang Gençler için sahne deneyim programlarına Gugak enstrümanları ile geleneksel sanatlar ve kültürel etkinlik dersleri de dahil olmaktadır. Performansların ve interaktif programların kombinasyonu ile Seoul Namsan Gugakdang giderek Seoul vatandaşları için kişisel deneyim ve Kore'nn geleneksel müziği Gugak'ı sevme ve takdir etme imkanı vermeyi amaçlamaktadır.


Genel Bakış

1961 yılında Unam Salonu ile başlayan, Sejong Merkezi'nde çıkan yangından sonra hasar görmesi nedeniyle 14 Nisan 1978 tarihinde Civil Salonu olarak yeniden açıldı.

Sejong Merkezi Kore'nin sahne sanatıdır ve uluslararası dünyanın en iyi on performansı aşamasında olan, sanat icra etmenin tek yolu oldu. 1970 ~ 1980'li yıllarında merkez, Kore saf sanatın beşiği olmuştu.

Introduction

Seoul Namsan Gugakdang (Traditional Theater), located in Namsangol Hanok Village, is a performance hall dedicated to Gugak Performance. The 330-seat hall’s acoustics, lighting, and stage facilities are all specifically designed to enhance the sound and experience of Gugak. It is the only performance hall in Korea where patrons can enjoy the pure, natural sound of Gugak without the use of any electro-acoustic technology.
The Performing Gugakdang runs a range of hands-on experience programs including lectures on Gukak instruments & traditional arts and cultural activities for teens. With the combination of performances and interactive programs, the Seoul Namsan Gugakdang aims to increasingly give the citizens of Seoul the chance to personally experience and appreciate the beauty and joy of Gugak, Korean traditional music.


Overview

Started with Unam Hall in 1961, Sejong Center opened on April 14, 1978 in succession to Civil Hall which was destructed by fire.

Sejong Center was the gateway of Korean performing art and only way of international performing art as one of the world’s ten best performance stages. In 1970s ~1980s, the center had been the cradle of Korean pure art.
