Gyeongju'daki NamsaN'ın eteklerinde bulunan bu gölcük Üç Krallık Dönemi'nde yapılmıştır. Namsan'daki köyün ortasında iki tane üç katlı taş pagoda ve doğuda hoş bir göl bulunmaktadır.

Göreceğiniz gibi burası, efsaneleriyle ünlü Silla Çağı'nın tarihi bir kalıntısıdır.

Silla'da Kral Soji'nin 10. yılında (488) bir karga ve bir fare krala gelir ve şöyle der; Namsan'ın eteklerinde Cheoncheonjeong Köşkü'ne giden yolun üzerindeki "kargayı takip et."

Kral, takipçisini de beraberinde getirir.

Located in the foot of the Mt. Namsan in Gyeongju, this pond was built in the Three Kingdom Period. There were two of three story stone pagodas in the middle of village in Mt. Namsan and elegant pond in the east.

It was a historical relic in the Silla Era that was famous for the legend as below.

In the 10th year of King Soji (488) of Silla, a crow and a mouse came to the king and said, "follow after the crow" on his way to the Cheoncheonjeong Pavilion in the foot of Mt. Namsan.

The King had his follower to come along.

While he followed the crow, he was caught in the fight of two pigs.

While he was wandering about missing the road, he received an envelop delivered by an old man.

Based on the message in the envelope, the King had the Geomungojip case shot.

With this shot, a monk and an official who hatched the plot were killed.

The name of the pond, Seochulji, was originated from the story that the message was formed here that could prevent from entrapping.

Since then, the custom of Ogiil, when one feed a crow with a memorial service food on January 15th, was formed. It was said that Im jeok built a building around the pond to read a book and enjoy sightseeing in the 5th year of King Hyeonjong of Joseon.

This simple but elegant building still remained in the northwest of the pond.
