Bölgenin içinde bulunan Seodaegu Sanayi Kompleksi ve Dyeing Sanayi Kompleksi ile Seo bölgesi Kore'nin tekstil endüstrisi ve başarılı Milano Projesi için herkesin görmek isteyeceği bir yer haline gelmiştir.

Located at the beautiful downstream of Geumho River below Waryong Mountain, and Nalmoi and Deulmaeul, typical hilly areas near Dalseo River, Seo-gu's towns began to develop into a city at the time of the Unified Silla Dynasty.
It went through urban street development in 1960s and industrialization with the formation of industrial complexes in 1970s, and has become the bustling city of today.
With the Seodaegu Industrial Complex and Dyeing Industrial Complex located within the district, Seo-gu is the mecca for Korea's textile industry and the successful Milano Project.
