Burasi, eski bir çömlek atölyesinin bulundugu yer. Bu atölye, Sabudong'da (71. tarihi mekan) bulunan baska bir atölye ile birlikte Goryeong bölgesinin önemli çömlek ocaklarini olusturmakta.

Joseon Dönemi'nde (1392-1910), Buncheong ve beyaz porselen esya üretildi.

Bahsedilen bölge, köy girisinin sag tarafinda bir dagin etegindedir, fakat oranin gerçek tasviri bu olamazdi. Baslica ürünleri kaseler, plaklar(düz tabak) ve tabaklar olduguna inanilirdi.

Burada üretilen çömlekler, kalin çeperlere, kaba kivrimlara, kasimpati ve bulut tasarimlari ile birlikte sirlanmis kalin, koyu yesil bir renge sahipti.

Sabudong çömlek atölyesinden 1 km uzaktadir ve benzer özellik tasiyan kalintilar her iki atölyede de bulundu.

Goryeong bölgesi eski yillarda iyi kil, yakit ve yetenekli çömlekçileri nedeniyle zengin oldu.

Bölgenin daha iyi anlasilmasi için, daha kapsamli bir arastirma gereklidir.

This is the site of an ancient pottery kiln, which along with the one at Sabudong (Historic Site No. 71), was a major kiln in the Goryeong area.

It produced Buncheong and white porcelain ware during the Joseon period (1392-1910).

The site is at the foot of the mountain on right side of the village entrance, but original figure of it couldn't be seen. Its major products are believed to have been bowls, platters and plates.

The pottery produced here had thick walls, coarse curves and thick, dark green glaze with designs of chrysanthemums and clouds.

It is within 1km away from Sabudong kiln site and similar characteristic relics were found in both sites.

The Goryeong area was rich in good clay, fuel and skilled potters in the ancient years.

For the better understanding of the area, the more thorough research is essential.
