Park Yeon / 박 연 (Musician)
Park Yeon, Gayageum’un büyük ustası Ureuk ve Geomungo çalmada iyi olan Wang San-Ak ile birlikte Kore müziğinin bilgelerinden biridir. Park Yeon, Joseon Kralı Sejong döneminde yaşadı ve Kore müziğinin kurallarını sistemli bir şekilde özetledi. Park Yeon başarısına ve geleneksel Kore müziğine katkılarından dolayı her sonbaharda Youngdong’da “Nangye Sanat Festivali” düzenlenir.

Park Yeon / 박 연 (Musician)
Park Yeon was one of the sages of music in Korea, together with Ureuk who was the great master of Gayageum and Wang San-Ak who was good at playing Geomungo. Park Yeon lived during the reign of King Sejong of Joseon Dynasty and he systematically summarized the theories of Korean music. In order to pay a tribute to the achievement of Park Yeon and to succeed to Korean traditional music, Youngdong holds ‘Nangye Art Festival” every fall.
