This is the tomb of Queen Dangyeong (1487-1557), the wife of King Jungjong of the Joseon. She became a queen through the Jungjong Rebellion, however expelled by the rebellion leaders. When she died without any decendent, she was buried in in the grave yard of her maiden family. King Sukjong, in his 24th year (1698), built a shrine to hold memorial ceremonies for her. And Since 1739, the 15th year of King Yeongjo, the queen's tomb was referred as Olleung. The sculptures and cravings of the tomb were modeled from Jangneung and the tomb was treated equavallent to Jungneung and Sareung those who became queens after the death. The queen's tomb, round-shaped, does not have any stone screen and the balustrade with putting stone slabs in front and three-sided-low fence outward, but just the animal statues. Beneath the tomb, there used to be a shrine hall for ceremonies, however, it is destroyed in the road construction in 1970.
