Sadece bir kaç yerde olsa da kolayca farkedebilen, Toru denilen bu toprak set, Gyeongju'nun Tumuli Parkının giriş kapısının doğu yönünden Hwangodong Tumuli'ye ve Bukcheon Nehri'nin kuzeyine kadar uzanır.

Bu tarihi yer neredeyse yıkık haldedir.

Ne zaman ve neden inşa edilmiş olduğu kesin olarak bilinemiyor.

Ama Kral Hyeonjong (1012)'un 3. yılı sırasında inşa edilmiş olabilir, tarihsel kayıtlar taştan setin bu tarihlerde Gyeongju'nun kuzey kesimine inşa edildiğini göstermektedir.

Historic Sites 17

Though noticeable in only a few places, this embankment, called Toru, extends eastward from the entrance of Gyeongju's Tumuli Park to the Hwangodong Tumuli and from there northward to Bukcheon Stream.

This historic site has almost been destroyed.

When and why it was constructed is not known for sure.

But it may have been constructed during the third year of King Hyeonjong (1012), as historical records show that a bank of stones was built in the northern part of Gyeongju at that time.
