Currently, the production of pure mushroom species widely developed the culturing of edible mushrooms such as Psalliota campestris, Shiitake, Pleurotus astreatus, ear mushrooms and Volvariella volvacea, and as more of their nutritional contents and medical efficacies reveal, their demands are increasing as well. Pleurotus astreatus and Ganoderma lucidum mainly produced in Multonggol Village of Gurim-myeon are cultivated automatically and with the devoted procedures of the villagers to have superior efficacies and effects as well as tastes and scents for cuisines.
