Deniz seviyesinden 496.4 metre yükseklikte olan Mani Dağı (마니산), Ganghwa Adası'ndaki en yüksek dağdır. 1977 yılında Ulusal Turizm Yeri olarak tanımlanmıştır. Zirveye tırmanıldığı zaman, Gyeonggi alanı ve Batı Denizi görülebilir ve dağ yürüyüşleri düzenlenmektedir.

Mani Dağı'nda, Goryeo Dönemi'nden Jeongsu Tapınağı ve dağın tepesinde Chamseongdan yer almaktadır. Dağın doğu tarafında yer alan Jeongsu Tapınağı ve Daewungjeon'a tırmanılırsa Batı Denizi bölgesinden zor görülen muhteşem gündoğumuna şahit olunabilmektedir. Tapınağın yakınlarındaki sık orman ve lotus çiçeği dizaynı hoş bir görüntü sergilemektedir. Chamseongdan, dağın zirvesinin batı kıyısındadır ve çevre güzelliği ile ünlüdür.

Hala Kore Vakıf Günü'nde Dangun için törenler düzenlenmektedir. Sunak, Baekdu Dağı ve Halla Dağı'nın ortasında yer almaktadır ve iç manzarasının ana hattı ve Batı Denizi'ndeki adaların görülebileceği önemli bir sembolik noktadır. Goguryeo, Baekje ve Silla kralları da bu noktaya gelerek ibadet etmişlerdir.

Mani Dağı'nda, Yangban Patikası ve Stairway Patikası olarak iki yol bulunmaktadır. Yangban Yolu, keyifli bir tırmanış için ideal eğimdedir. Stairway Patikası dik bir yokuşa sahiptir fakat zirvesindeki dağ ve deniz manzarası çok güzeldir ve pek çok dağcı tarafından tercih edilmektedir.

Introduction

Manisan Mountain (마니산), at 496.4 meters above sea level, is the highest mountain in Ganghwa-do. It became a designated National Tourist Site in 1977. When you climb to the top, you can see the surrounding Gyeonggi area and the West Sea, and because the mountain paths are organized, it is good for hiking.

On Manisan Mountain there is Jeongsusa Temple from the Goryeo Period, and Chamseongdan at the top of the mountain. Jeongsusa sits on the eastside of the mountain, and if you scale Daewungjeon, you can see a magnificent sunrise that is hard to see in this West Sea region. Near the temple, the forest is thick, and the lotus flower designs on the window are especially beautiful. Chamseongdan is on the westside of the mountain top, and is famous for its surrounding beauty.

Even now on Foundation Day of Korea, we hold ceremonies to Dangun here. The altar is located in the middle of Baekdusan Mountain and Halla Mountain, and so is an important symbolic spot from where you can see the islands in the West Sea and the outline of the inland scenery. The kings of Goguryeo, Baekje , and Silla have also supposedly come to this spot and offered sacrifices to the heavens.

There are two trails to Manisan Mountain, the Yangban Trail and the Stairway Trail. The Yangban Path has the ideal incline for a pleasant climb. The Stairway Path has steep incline, but once at the top, the view of the mountain and sea is very beautiful and is favored by many climbers.
