Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do il sınırları içinde Seongsan-myeon’un kuzeyinde yer almaktadır. 2001 yılı itibariyle nüfusu 4,263 ve yüz ölçümü 27,40 ㎢’dir. Gnaystan oluşan Oseong ve Manggyeong Dağları tarafından ana hatları tepeler ve geniş ormanlardan oluşmuş 100-200 metre arasında değişen yüksekliklerle çevrelenmektedir. Baslıca tarım ürünleri pirinç, arpa ve bununla birlikte hayvancılık ile süt üretimi ve ipek üretimidir. Express Way otobanın SeoHaean Gunsan çıkışı köyün yanında uzanmaktadır. Ayrıca National Highway'in 27 ve 29 numaralı otoyolları köyün güneyinden geçtiği için her yöne ulaşımı kolaylaştırmaktadır. Geum nehri de doğusunda akmaktadır.

Is located in the northern part of Seongsan-myeon Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do Province-wide and is 27.40 ㎢ with the population of 4.263 (as of 2001). Oseong Mountains and Manggyeong Mountains, composed of gneiss, 100 ~ 200m-high longitudinal spread through the center of the district with backbones surrounding hills and forest plains obtuse. Their major agricultural products are rice and barley along with milking cow raising and silk-raising. The Express Way passes the district Seohaean Gunsan Tollgate is located longitudinally and by the village. Also, the National Highway # 27 and # 29 to complete the pass in the south of the village to all directions for traffic conveniences proximity. Geum River flows to the east.
