Kulüp Kariyeri

Lee profesyonel futbol yaşamına Suwon Samsung Bluewings'in yedek oyuncularından biri olarak başladı. Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i ve Cheonan Ilhwa Chunma takımlarında oynamadan önce hiç bir K-ligi maçına çıkmadan iki sezon boyunca bu takımda kaldı.
Daha sonra iki yıl da Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors takımında iki yıl oynayan oyuncu K-ligine 6 yılını harcamasına rağmen sadece 24 kupa maçına çıkabilmişti. Ve kendini de çıktığı bu maçlarda kanıtlamıştır.
Daha sonra Lee KLigi'ndeki 2002 sezonu için Daegu FC'nin alt takımında oynamak için Seoul City FC''den ayrıldı.
2003 yılında K-Ligi'nde 22 mata oynayarak Daegu takımında sonunda kendini oyun başlatıcı olarak kabul ettirebildi.
Ancak bir sonraki sezonda ise isler tersine döndü, oynadığı maç şayisi azaldı. Lee'nin bu zamana kadar olan performanslarını gözlemleyen Çin Süper Lig Takimi Sichuan Guancheng 2004 sezonu için Lee ile anlaşma imzaladı.
Tekrar Daejeon Citizen'a dönmeden önce Çin'de bir sezon oynadı.

Yöneticilik Kariyeri

2005 yılında K-liginde oyunculuktan emekliliğe ayrılan Lee, FC MB'de antrenör olarak göreve başladı. MB adi Hong Myung-Bo'nun bas harflerinden oluşmaktadır.

Uluslararası Kariyeri

Lee, Güney Kore 20 yas altı futbol takiminin bir üyesiydi. 1996 yılında Soongsil Üniversitesi örgencisi olmasına rağmen o yılki olimpiyatlarda Güney Kore 23 yas altı futbol takiminin üyesiydi. K-Ligi'ndeki profesyonel kariyerine başlaması da bu olimpiyatlardan sonra olmuştur.

Lee Kyung-Soo (이경수) is a former South Korean football defender, who predominantly played in the South Korean K-League.

Club Career

Lee's foray as a professional footballer began with the Suwon Samsung Bluewings as a draftee, and he spent two seasons with the club without ever featuring in the K-League before departing for single season spells with Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i and Cheonan Ilhwa Chunma. A two year stint at Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors followed. Despite spending six years at K-League clubs, Lee had still to establish himself as a first team regular, accumulating a mere 24 games in the K-League, with a few matches in Cup competitions.
Lee then dropped out of the K-League ranks to spend the 2002 season with amateur side Seoul City FC before returning to the K-League with Daegu FC for their inaugural season in the K-League. He finally was able to consider himself as a regular starter in Daegu's side for the 2003 season, playing 22 matches in the K-League. However, the following season he fell out out favour and saw much less match play. By this time Chinese Super League side Sichuan Guancheng was showing interest in Lee's services, and he subsequently signed with the club for the 2004 season. He spent only a single season in China before returning to South Korea for a final season in the K-League with Daejeon Citizen.

Management Career

After retiring as a player at the conclusion of the 2005 K-League season, Lee took up a coaching position with FC MB. MB means initial of Hong Myung-Bo's given name.

International Career

Lee was a member of the South Korea under-20 football team. He was also a squad member of the South Korea under-23 football team (which participated at the 1996 Olympics), even though at the time of the 1996 Olympics, he was still at Soongsil University. It was only after the Olympics that he began his professional career in the K-League.
