Müze 1959'da açıldı. 8 sergi odası, bir görsel-işitsel oda, bir doğal kaynakları koruma laboratuvarı ve üniversite müzelerinde nadir bir özellik olan geniş, güzel bir açık taş artefakti sergi alanından (13,824㎡) oluşan bağımsız bir yapıdır (toplam alan 5488㎡). Bu evler 7 ulusal hazine dahil olmak üzere 7000 eser ve tarih öncesinden yeni halk malzemelerine değişen 40000'in üzerinde kazılmış eşya koleksiyonudur.

Sergi odalarında çeşitli eserler kronolojik olarak sergileniyor. Örneğin: Yeni Taş Çağı'ndan tarak desenli çanak-çömlek ve taş baltalar ve Joseon Hanedanlığı'ndan porselen, resim ve öğretim materyalleri. Taş pagoda gibi çeşitli taş eserler, budo, Budist heykeller, Üç Krallık döneminin Munseok'undan Joseon Hanedanlığı dönemine, Tunç Çağı dolmenleri* ve Üç Krallık döneminin restore kaya mezarları Seokgwakmyo açık sergi alanında sergilenmektedir.

*Dolmen: Tarih öncesi dönemde dikilen taşların üzerine yerleştirilmiş geniş ve yassı bir taştan oluşan bir tür anıt.

The museum opened in 1959. It consists of an independent building (total area 5488㎡) that houses 8 exhibition rooms, an audiovisual room, a conservation laboratory, and a spacious, beautiful outdoor stone artifact exhibition space (13,824㎡), which is a rare feature in university museums.
It houses a collection of 7,000 artifacts including 7 national treasures and over 40,000 excavated artifacts ranging from prehistoric artifacts to recent folk materials.

In the exhibition rooms, various artifacts are on display in chronological order: e.g. comb-pattern potteries and stone axes of the New Stone Age, and porcelain, paintings and teaching materials of the
Joseon Dynasty. Various stone artifacts such as stone pagoda, budo, Buddhist statues, and muninseok of the era of the Three Kingdoms to the
Joseon Dynasty period, dolmens of the Bronze Age, and restored stone tombs 석곽묘 of the era of the Three Kingdoms are on display in the outdoor exhibition space.
