Kansong Sanat Müzesi, hayatını Kore'nin kültürel değerlerini bir araya getirmeye adamış bir eğitimci ve antikacı olan Jeon Hyeongpil (1906-1962) tarafından kurulmuş olan ilk özel müzedir. Geçmişte birçok koleksiyona ev sahipliği yapmış olan Bohwagak, Bukdanjang ana enstitüsüne bağlı olup, adı 1966 yılında Kansong Sanat Müzesi olarak değiştirilmiştir. Müzenin vitrininde Kore'nin kültürel eserlerine ve antikalarına geniş yer verilmiştir. Bunların arasında Ulusal Hazine'ye ait 12 eser daha vardır. Bunlar: Hunminjeongeum (Kore Belgesi: Halkı yönlendirmek adına doğru söylemler yer almaktadır.), Haeye Elyazısı (Uzun bir belge / No.70) ve Goryeo celadon vazosu Ulusal Hazine olarak belirlenmiştir. (No.68) Müze, Mayıs ve Ekim aylarında iki hafta süreyle halka açılır.

Kansong Art Museum was the first private museum in Korea established by Jeon Hyeongpil (1906-1962), an educationalist and antiquarian who dedicated his life to studying and collecting cultural properties of Korea. “Bohwagak”, an attached museum to the main institute of “Bukdanjang”, housed most of his collections in the past, but after his demise, “Bukdanjang” changed its name into the Kansong Art Museum in 1966. The museum showcases a wide collection of Korean cultural relics and antiques, including 12 items of National Treasure: Hunminjeongeum (Korean script: lit. the correct sounds for the instruction of the people) Haeye script (a longer document) designated as National Treasure No. 70; A 13th century Goryeo celadon vase designated as National Treasure No. 68. The museum only opens to the public for two weeks in May and October.
