The mission of the Jindo NGC is to enhance awareness of the province's unique heritage and culture and to develop educational programs and performances that are appropriate to the character of the region. Since its commencement in July, 2004, the Center has received great acclaim for the preservation of the distinct qualities of the region by means of hosting public performances and hands-on workshops as well as supporting noteworthy research.
