Büyük şehire yakın olmasına rağmen Inchon da Sorae hala eski bir balıkçı köyü havasını sürdürürken ülkenin balıkçılık endüstrisindeki önemini korur.
Sorae limanında her yıl düzenlenen Inchon Soraepogu festivali ulusal ve uluslararası turistlerin akını ile popüler hale gelmiştir.

Festival boyunca, çeşitli etkinlikler ve tezgahlar için bölgedeki yolların araçlara kapalı olması ile bir mekan haline dönüştürülmüştür. Buna ek olarak, geleneksel balıkçılık araçlarını içeren bir sergi ve Sorae'de yakalanan taze balık satan geleneksel pazar bulacaksınız.
Festival süresince Jangdo Podaeji kalesinde düzenlenen halka açık bir canlı konser bile vardır.

Geleneksel Kore töreninin ana vurgusu bolca balık yakalamak için dua edilmesidir. Festival boyunca tanınmış çok sayıda eller tarafından gerçekleştirilen yerel halk ve turistlerle aktivite programları yapılır.

Introduction

Sorae in Incheon, despite its proximity to the metropolitan area, still maintains the atmosphere of an old fishing village and its importance in the nation’s fishing industry.

The Incheon Soraepogu Festival, held at the Sorae Port, has become such a popular event that it is attended by throngs of national and international tourists each year. During the festival, the roads in the area are closed to vehicles and transformed into a venue for a variety of stalls and events. In addition to events, you’ll find a traditional market selling fresh fish caught in Sorae and an exhibit of traditional fishing tools. There is even a live concert held in the Jangdo Podaeji fort, which is only open to the public during the festival.

One of the main highlights is the traditional Korean ceremony, which is performed as a prayer for a bountiful catch. The festival is well known for its large number of hands-on activity programs, which bring tourists and local residents together.
