Kim In Soon, sahne adı olarak Insooni olarak bilinen Güney Kore bir şarkıcıdır. Çıkışını 1978 yılında Hee Sisters adlı grupla yapmıştır. O günden bu yana toplam 19 albüm çıkarmıştır. Çıkışından bugüne 35 yıl geçmesine rağmen büyük bir hayran kitlesi vardır ve Güney Kore'nin R&B divası olarak akıllarda yer edinmiştir. New York'taki Carnegie Hall'de performans sergileyen az sayıdaki sanatçıdan birisidir ve yıllık düzenlenen birçok töreninde çok sayıda ödül kazanmıştır. Sahnede gırtlaktan gelen zengin sesiyle fark yaratmıştır. Güney Kore'de ABD ordusunda görev yapan Afrikan-Amerikan bir babandan ve Güney Koreli bir anneden dünyaya gelmiştir ve annesi tarafından yalnız yetiştirilmiştir.
Halen Güney Kore'nin en ünlü kadın şarkıcılarından biri olarak kabul edilmektedir.
1994 yılında doğan bir kızı vardır.

Kariyer

1978 yılında Hee sisters grubuyla çıkış yapmıştır fakat Güney Kore halkının fikri bir kız grubunun Güney Kore'de başarılı olamayacağı yönünde olmuştur.Bu yüzden Hee Sister ona yeteneklerini göstermesi için zaman tanımıştır. !980 yılında da solo çıkışını yapmıştır. 1983 yılında disko devrinin başlamasıyla yayınladığı If It's Night, Every Night isimli şarkısı hit olmuştur ve KBS charts'da 1984 yılına kadar 7 numarada kalmıştır. Bu sayede büyük bir popülerlik kazanmıştır.

Kim In-Soon (Korean: 김인순; born April 5, 1957), better known by her stage name, Insooni (Korean: 인순이), is a South Korean singer. She made her debut in 1978 in a group "Hee Sisters (Korean: 희자매)". Since then, she has recorded a total of 19 albums, 14 of them, regular. She is now South Korea's acclaimed R&B diva with a wide range of fans, even though 35 years have passed since her debut. She is one of the few singers who performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and earned several top prizes at broadcasters' annual award ceremonies. She is distinguished by her rich, throaty voice on stage. She was born to a South Korean mother and an African American father, who served in the U.S. military in South Korea, and was brought up by her mother alone, with the assistance of Pearl S. Buck International's child sponsorship program. She is now regarded as one of the most famous female singers in South Korea.

Career

In 1978, Insooni made her debut with the girl group "Hee sisters" but South Korean public opinion doubted that a girl group could be successful in South Korea. The Hee sister's time allowed In-Soon to show off her skills such as eloquent dance but the interest she attracted was merely that of outward appearance. In 1980, Fate, Insooni's solo release debuted. 1983, with the age of disco setting in, If it's night, every night, saw her release a hit that rose and remained at number 7 on KBS charts through 1984, she rose immensely in popularity.
