Bu bölge, Dongbusajeokjidae (Tarihi yerlerin doğu bölgesi) denilen alanın tarihi bir yer olarak belirlenmesi ile Silla Dönemi' ne ait kültürel özelliklerin ve tarihi yerlerin daha iyi korunması sağlandı.
Bu bölge kuzeyden güneye Gyodong ile Anapji Göleti'ni ve Namcheon'daki Wolseongnam' dan Cheomseongno rotası önündeki Gobun Park' ının kuzey ve güneyini kapsar. Wolseong, Anapji Göleti, Cheomseongdae Gözlemevi ve Gyerim Ormanı gibi kalıntıların her biri, yeraltı eserleri ve yeni bulunmuş kalıntıların çoğu eski eser olarak belirlenmiştir.
Böylece kalıntılar Silla kültürü merkezi alanını ve Silla Hanedanlığı'nın başkentini korumak için özel bir alana katılmıştır. Wolseong, Anapji Göleti, Cheomseongdae Gözlemevi, Gyerim Ormanı, ve Kral Naemul' un kraliyet mezarının yanında, mükemmel korunmuş mezar höyükleri vardır ve bu yerler kazı araştırma aşamasındadır.

This zone, called Dongbusajeokjidae (The eastern zone of historical sites) was districted for the better preservation of historic sites and cultural properties of Silla Era.
It includes the relics from Anapji Pond to Gyodong at its east and west and from Namcheon of Wolseongnam to Cheomseongno route in front of the Gobun Park at its south and north. Each of the relics such as Wolseong, Anapji Pond, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Gyerim Forest is designated as a relic itself though, lots of underground relics and remains amid them are still found out.
So the relics were integrated into one special zone in order to protect the central area of Silla culture, the capital of Silla Dynasty. Besides Wolseong, Anapji Pond, Cheomseongdae Observatory, Gyerim Forest, and the royal tomb of King Naemul, there are lots of burial mounds preserved perfectly and the excavation research is still in the process.
