Synopsis

This drama revolves around Oh-nim, a woman who has changed her life tremendously. Oh-nim works at a small restaurant in the street market. She is described as shallow and ignorant and the only thing she can do well is cooking. She changes her life from a poor and mistreated wife to a sophisticated and elegant woman. The drama, cheerfully and delightfully, depicts the process of her transformation to the eyes of viewers who are mostly housewives. Hope is both the key and the catalyst for Oh-min’s transformation and it is described here in such a practical way, that viewers can sympathize with the main character and feel a catharsis through it. The drama focuses on the personal growth of Oh-nim who is reborn as a woman who can enjoy her life openly and independently.
