Haman-gun is located in the center of Gyeongsangnam-do. As the Nakdong River and Nam River merge in Haman-gun, there are large and well fertile plains near the rivers and sufficient water source but it is suitable for agriculture so the grains grow well.

On the other hand, Haman-gun is developing as the suburb of Advancement of Agriculture and Industry as the income for agriculture is high due to the expansion of faming facilities and small businesses.

The new symbol mark of Haman-gun is created to strengthen the identity of Haman-gun and to visualize the vision.
The forms of symbol visualizes the images of Yeohang Mountain and the Korea's longest levee while strengthening the image of clean city and symbolizing the wills and visions of the district through an image of bird, which flies toward the various dreams and hopes that Haman wishes to achieve.

County's flower - Garden Zinnia

As a fruit tree, the persimmon tree has a strong fertility. The garden zinnia was revered as a symbol of our ancestor's integrity (strong will) as it is like spirit of our ancestor and its elegant and passionate color and fragrance symbolizes the development of Haman through infinite possibility and patience and power of our strong ancestors.

County's tree - Persimmon Tree

The persimmon tree bears fruits and has abundant leaves and has close relationship with the lives of our people and the Haman's Pasu dried persimmon is one of Haman’s specialties and was presented to the old royal. The distribution for reproduction is large and Haman has suitable land type for the persimmon tree. The green and strong persimmon tree represents the strong spirit of the county and symbolizes the everlasting prosperity.

County's bird - Magpie

The magpie has been loved by many people since ancient time and has been known as a bird, which delivers hope and gladness, so it predicts the future of Haman and helps the people in Haman to make correct decision. Also, there are many magpies living in the county as they don't harmas people, other animal or crops.

Mascot

The mascot of Haman-gun (Udori) represents the diligent cow which is a close friend to the human being since the old agricultural era and expresses the future-oriented animal, which will participate with the people of Haman for the hopeful future of Haman.
