Gusugok kelimesinin "gu'' su, "çok" demektir, suyun bol oldugu anlamina gelir. Burada, 18 küçük havuz ve 18 adet de büyük havuz bulunmaktadir. Muhtesem dogal güzelligi, manzarasi ve selalelerin bulundugu bir vadidir. Bitisik Yeungbong-san, Deokgu Vadisi ve Deokgu Spa için, sasirtici dogal güzellikleri ile çok güzel bir turizm beldesidir. Nadir görülen agaç türleri, ve vahsi hayvanlar vadiye 10 km uzaklikta yasamaktadir.

Gusugok is named after "gu", meaning "a lot", as it contains an abundance of water. It boasts 18 small and large ponds and waterfalls of spectacular scenic beauty where water winds through the valley. The shape of the valley or rocks in water has a resemblance to women, while there exists no house from the entrance of the valley through the point where it ends. Adjacent to Yeungbong-san, Deokgu Valley, and Deokgu Spa, it is a blessed tourist resort with amazing natural scenic beauty. Rare tree species, including Ulgin pine trees of 50-200 years old and Schmidt Birch trees, grow, and such wild animals as goats inhabit in the 10 km valley.
