Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do'da bir ilçedir. Bu ilçe Sili biber üretimi ile dikkat çeker. Goesan ilçesi, Songnisan Ulusal Parkın bir kısmını içerir.

Sobaek dağlarının bir kısmı ilçenin alanında yer alır ve bazı dağlarında bir kısmı bu bölgede bulunur. Bu dağlar:
Deokgasan (덕가산, 850m), Chilbosan (칠보산, 778m), Bogaesan (보개산, 780m), Gunjasan (군자산, 948m), Nagyeongsan (낙영산, 681m) ve Jobongsan (조봉산, 680m).
