Adından da anlaşıldığı gibi ginseng, şekil olarak insan vücudu gibi görünür ve insan hayatını ve sağlığını koruyan bir ilaç gibi olma özelliği ile göze çarpar. Ginseng, geleneksel doğu tıbbı içine yerleşmiş çok önemli bir ilaçtır ve insanlığın mucizevi ilacı olarak görülür. Gizemli ilaç. Ginseng'in Geumsan için nasıl özel olduğunun hikayesi, bundan 1500 yıl önceye dayanır. Geumsan ilçesi Namvi-myeon Seonggok-ri Gaean kasabasında bir bilgin yaşardı. Babasını kaybetmişti ve annesiyle birlikte yaşardı. Annesine çok bağlıydı. Bir gün, annesi çok hastalandı ve bilgin onu iyileştirmek için pek çok ilaç denedi. Ama hiçbiri ise yaramadı. Hastalığı daha da kötüye gitti ve bilgin 100 gün boyunca Geumsan Jinak Dağındaki Gwaneum mağarasına dua etmeye gitti. Burada, gördüğü bir rüyada dağın hayaleti belirdi ve bilgine “ eğer Jinak Dağındaki Gwaneumbong Kayalığına gidersen orada üç meyveli bir bitki bulacaksın. Bu bitkiyi haşla ve onu annene ver. Dileğin gerçek olacak” dedi. Bilgin bunu yaptı ve annesi iyileşti. Daha sonra bu bitkiyi kendi kasabasında yetiştirmeye başladı. Bitkinin gövdesi insan vücuduna benziyordu bu yüzden Ginseng adıyla anılmaya başlandı. Bay Kang Ginseng'i ilk defa Geumsan Namyi-myeon Seonggok-ri 946-Beonji tarlalarında yetiştirmeye başladı ve şimdi orada bir heykeli var. Geçmişte bitki filizlenmeye baslayınca insanlar burada her yıl tören yaparlardı.

Japon, Çin ya da Birlesik Devletler'deki Ginsengler Kore Insam'dakinden tamamiyle farklıdır. Sadece aynı akademik sınıflandırmadadır.

As the name tells, Ginseng looks like a body of a human being, and it is prominent as medicine for protecting people셲 life and health. So, Ginseng is positioned in the most important medicine in traditional oriental medicine and called as 쏮iracle medicine of mankind?and 쏮ystery Medicine?The story of how Ginseng became special to Geumsan dates back to 1,500 years ago from now. There lived a scholar in a village of Geumsan-gun Namyi-myeon Seonggok-ri Gaean. He lost his father, and lived with his mother alone. He was devoted greatly to his mother. One day, the mother got sick and the son tried every medicine to make her well. But nothing has worked. Her illness got worse, and he went to Gwaneum Cave in Mt. Jinak in Geumsan to pray for 100 days. There, in his dream, the spirit of the mountain appeared and said, 쏧f you go to cliff in Gwaneumbong of Mt. Jinak , there should be a plant with three fruits. Boil that plant and give it to your mother. Your wish will come true.?So, he did so and his mother was cured, from then, he began to cultivate the seeds in his village. The root of the plant looked like human셲 body, so it was called 쏥inseng?

Mr. Kang planted Ginseng for the first time in the field in Geumsan-gun Namyi-myeon Seonggok-ri 946-Beonji, and there is a monument now. In past, when it began to push sprouts, people did rituals here every year. They called the first Ginseng cultivation place a 쁆aesamteo? Gaesamgak was established in 1983, to enshrine the spirit of Mt. Jinak , and it is selected as Folk Culture No. 1. The reason why the name of village is 쏥aean?is because, it means 쐎pens the eye of Ginseng.?In that field, they built the monument called 쏥aesamteo? a building called 쏥aesamgak? and here, Geumsan Ginseng Festival is held every year.

Best medicine with 1500 years of history ?Geumsan Ginseng

Ginseng is a medicine plant produced in the Korea Peninsula. Since our Ginseng became so popular, there are those similar plants that are granted with 쏥inseng?in their names. Japan셲 Jeokjeol Ginseng, USA셲 쏛merican Ginseng? China셲 쏶amchil Ginseng.? They are not genuine.In order to prevent them from acting as if they are real Ginseng, we entitled our Ginseng as 쏫orean Insam.? Those 쁤insengs?of Japan, US, and China are totally different plant from Korean Insam. It is just that they are under same academic classification of plant.
