Geoje Güney Gyeongsang bölgesine bagli Kore’nin ikinci büyük adasidir. Dogusunda Gadeokdo adasi, batisinda Tongyeong sehriyle baglantisini saglayan Geoje Grand Bridge bulunur. Geoje sehri adalar dizisinden olusur. Bunlarin içinde en büyügü Geoje adasidir.
Okpo’daki Daewoo Gemi Insa ve Deniz Mühendisligi (eski Daewoo Tersanesi) ve Gohyeon’daki Samsung Agir Sanayiler(SHI) Geoje adasinda bulunmaktadir. Ayrica turizm alanda da genis bir seçenek sunmaktadir.

Geoje is a city located in South Gyeongsang province which is the second largest island in Korea. On the east, it is 9km from Gadeokdo(island) in Busan and on the west, Geoje Grand Bridge connects it with Tongyeong. The city is made up of a number of islands, of which by far the largest is Geoje Island.
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (former Daewoo Shipyard) in Okpo and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) in Gohyeon are both located on Geoje Island. The city also offers a wide range of tourist sights. The city is made up of a number of islands, of which by far the largest is Geoje Island.
