Clay Cups With a Grip Jeonju 1949



Jeongeup şehrinin Buan ilçesindeki Jukmak bölgesinin kutsal yerinden kazılmıştır. Bu kutsal yer, insanların güvenli deniz yolculuğu için deniz tanrısına dua etmekte kullandığı alandır. Dairesel kil tabağına çevirerek veya bükerek bir silindir şekli verildikten sonra, yan tarafına dairesel kulp takılır. Kulp üzerine, başarmak şeklinde bir topuz eklenir. Bu kulp ilk önce fırçalanmış ve sonra bir oyuk ile kupanın duvarına eklenmiştir. Dış tarafı zımparalanmıştır ve iç tarafına suyun çalkalanmasıyla bakım yapılmıştır.

Oymacılık geleneğinin işlemeleri fincanın alt tarafında uygulanmıştır. Bu, koyu kırmızısı kahverengi sert bir kaptır ve çömlekçinin kilinde kısmen 5mm civarında taş taneleri vardır.

This was excavated from the sacrificial site in Jukmak-dong, Buan, Jeongeup. This sacrificial site is the place where people used to pray the god of the sea for the safe navigation.
The process of production is as follows: after forming a cylinder by building or winding up on the circular clay plate, circular grip attaches to the side. On the grip, a thumb-shaped knob was attached. The grip was scrubbed first and attached to the cup's wall with a hole later. Its outside was grinded and its inside was cared with gyrating water.

The trace of carving groove was observed on the bottom. This is the hard vessel with dark reddish brown color, and its potter's.
