Chamseongdan sunağı dağ üzerinde kurulmuştur.

Dangun, Kore'nin kurucusu tarafından cennette tanrılara şükranlarını sunmak için sunak olarak bilinen Manisan dağı'na dikilmiştir.

Joseon Kralı SukJong'un 26'ıncı yılında, Kral Injo'nun 17'inci yılında ve Kral Wonjong'un 11'inci yılında onarıldı.

Chamseongdan Altar that was established at Mt.

Manisan was the known as the altar erected to pay tribute to gods in heaven by the founder of Korea, Dangun.

It was repaired in the 11th year of King Wonjong (1270), the 17th year of King Injo (1639) and the 26th year of King SukJong (1700) of Joseon.

It had been modified a numer of times that the original appearance had disappeared.

The double pedestal consisted of lower part and built rounded the natural stone and upper and built square shaped.

In the east side of upper pedestal, there were 21 stone stairs.

It was said that the memorial services had been performed through the Goryeo and Joseon Dynasties.

Now, on the National Foundation Day, the memorial service is performed every year.

In addition, seven celestial medians ignite the national athletic meeting torch in here.
