Buam, Güney Kore'nin başkenti Seul'de, Jongno bölgesinde bir semttir. Alanı 2.27 km2'dir.

Choi Gyu-sik'in bir bronz heykeli, Jahamun (Jaha Kapısı) tepesinde Buam dong idarehanesi yakınında bulunmaktadır.Choi, Jongno karakolunun bir şefiydi ve Kuzey Koreli casuslar, Cheong Wa Dae'ye girmeyi denediği zaman vazife başında öldürüldü.

A bronze statue of Choi Gyu-sik (최규식) is located on Jahamun (Jaha Gate) hill near the Buam-dong residential service office. Choi was a chief of the Jongno police station and killed in the line of duty when North Korean spies tried to penetrate into Cheong Wa Dae.
