Deuk Ryang Köyü Kore'nin en güney kesiminde yer alır ve bu yüzden hava ılımandır. Deuk Ryang Village is located in the southern most part of Korea, and therefore the weather is moderate. It is a clean village without any pollution, so it not only has a variety of farming and marine products, but Deuk Ryang Bay is blessed with a sandy bank so natural habitation and farming of many kinds of shellfish is popular. Bibong Dinosaur Fossil zone, Seonso Marine Village experiencing Town, and Ganggol Traditional housing, as well as other attractions draw tourists and produce special agricultural products annually.

For the reason that cultural assets, such as important reference of folk titled Igeumjae, Iyonguk, Isikjae traditional housing, Haepyeong Stone-Phantom, as well as others, it is possible for experiencing custom culture, and there are plenty of Ark Shells, Cockleshells, and est. in the clean sea of Deuk Ryang Bay.

Because the weather is moderate, rice, potatoes, corn, mushrooms, and small green onion crops are cultivated early, and teams of workers are organized by the product category that bonds the close local community.

Folk titles, such as Igeumjae, Iyonguk, Isikjae traditional housing, Haepyeong Stone-Phantom, as well as others, make it possible for us to experience customs and culture. There are also plenty of Ark Shells, Cockleshells, and est. in the clean sea of Deuk Ryang Bay.

The village is located 80km Southeast of Gwangju, next to Deuk Ryang Bay. The train track from Busan to Gwangju goes through the village passing 2 stations (Deuk Ryang, Yedang), and because the principal highway, which is an extension of Namhae Highway from Busan between Yusu to Mokpo, is conveniently located, and in an artificially developed land, many crops like potatoes, corn, mushrooms, small green onion are grown there.
