Busan'ın uluslararası müzik festivali temsilcisi, ikinci Busan Maru International Music Festival (BMIMF), Mart 2011'de 30 Ağustos'tan Eylül'e kadar 5 günlük olarak başlatılmıştır. Festival, Busan Kültür Merkezi dahil şehrin çeşitli yerlerinde düzenlenecek. Ev sahipliğini Busan şehrinin yaptığı ve BMIMF organizasyon komitesi tarafından yönetilen festivalin amacı sağlam bir küresel kültürel altyapı oluşturmak için zemin inşa edilirken bir yandan da bölgesel sanat sektörünün geliştirilmesidir.

“maru” kelimesi Korecede ''en iyi'' anlamına gelir ve hem yurtiçinde hem de yurtdışında en çok tanınan müzik festivallerinden biri olan BMIMF'in hedeflerini yansıtır. “Musical Globalization” teması altında düzenlenen bu yılın festivalleri dünyanın her yerinden davet edilen 37 takımın (500 katılımcı) performansları içerir.

Ulaşım

Daeyeon İstasyonu (Busan Metrosu 2 numaralı hattı), 5 numaralı çıkış.
Çıkarken U dönüşürü yaparak UN Pyeonghwa-ro'ya doğru sağa dönün.
UN Rotary'yi görene kadar 530m kadar düz gidin.
UN Park için olan işaretleri takip ederek sokak arasında 220m kadar daha ilerleyin.
Busan Kültür Merkezi tünelden hemen önce sağ tarafta bulunmaktadır.

Introduction
A representative international music festival of Busan, the second Busan Maru International Music Festival (BMIMF) is set to run for 5 days from August 30 to September, 3 2011. The festival will be held in various locations throughout the city, including the Busan Cultural Center. Hosted by the city of Busan and managed by the BMIMF organizing committee, the festival’s goal is to develop the regional art sector while building the grounds for forming a robust global cultural infrastructure.

The word “maru” is a Korean word that means “the best” and reflects the goals of the BMIMF of becoming one of the most recognized music festivals both domestically and internationally. This year’s festivities, held under the theme “Musical Globalization,” include performances from 37 teams (500 participants) who hail from all over the world.

Transportation
[Subway]
Daeyeon Station (Busan Subway Line 2), Exit 5.
Upon exiting, make a U-turn, and turn right onto UN Pyeonghwa-ro.
Go straight for 530m until you see the UN Rotary.
Cross the street and continue on for 220m, following the signs for UN Park.
Busan Cultural Center is located on the right before the tunnel.

[Bus]
From Busan Station, take Bus 134 and get off at UN Park.
