Goheung, Jeollanam-do eyaletine bağlı bir ilçedir.

Goheung'in güneyinde 34°26' enlem ve 127°30' boylaminda Rus ortaklığıyla yapılan Kore Uzay Merkezi, inşa halindedir. KSLV-I uzay roketinin 2007'de fırlatılması planlanmıştı. Tesis 2015'te tamamlanarak tam kapasiteyle çalışacaktır.

Sembolleri; ağaç kavunu ağacı, kamelya çiçeği ve güvercindir.

Kore yarımadasının en güneyinde bulunan yerlerden biri olan Goheung'in üç tarafi okyanusla 19 mesken ve 152 ıssız adayla çevrilmiştir. Derinliği fazla olmamakla birlikte kiıyı boyunca deniz kabuğu ve deniz yosunu endüstrisi gelişmiştir.

Goheung County is a county in Jeollanam-do Province, South Korea.

The Naro Space Center was completed during 2008 in southern Goheung 34°26′N 127°30′Eand is operated by the state-run Korea Aerospace Research Institute. The space center includes a launch pad, a control tower, rocket assembly and test facilities, facilities for satellite control testing and assembly, a media center, an electric power station, a space experience hall (visitor center) and a landing field.

Symbols: Citron tree, camellia blossom, dove.

Goheung is located in one of the southernmost areas of the Korean peninsula. It is surrounded by ocean on three sides with 19 inhabited islands and 152 uninhabited islands. The depth is not that low and its land spreads along the coast so many shellfish and seaweed industries have developed.
