Jingamseonsa (Birleşik Silla Hanedanlığı'nın son yıllarındaki tanınmış bir Budist keşiş) için dikilmiş bir anıttır.

Bir Budist music olan Beompae'yi tanıtan ve geniş çapta yaygınlaştıran kişiydi.

Bu anıt, son derece değerli, yüksek erdemi ve Budist gücü ile Jingamseonsa dini sağduyusunu geliştirirken onarılan Okcheon Tapınağı tarafından kurulan Ssanggye Tapınağı Silla Dönemi'nde Kral Jeonggang (886~887)'dan sonra 887'de inşa edildi.

Anıtın gövdesi her ne kadar zarar görmüşse de boynuzsuz ejderha şeklindeki tepe süsü ve kaplumbağa şeklindeki heykel tabanıyla anıt donatılmıştır.

Silla Dönemi'nin son yıllarında dikilmiş olan bu taş anıta uygun olarak, heykel tabanı ejderha kafası şekliyle dekore edilmiş ve arkası bir kaplumbağanın sırtı gibi altıgen şeklindeki bir tasarıma sahiptir.

Büyük bir anıt, kaplumbağanın sırtının ortasına oturtulmuş ve dört yüzü bulut şeklindeki oymalara donatılmıştır.

Kare şeklindeki merkezi bölümde ciddi derecede çatlaklar vardır.

Süslemesinde sınırsız güç sunuşu fazlasıyla ifade edilirken boynuzsuz ejderha figürü sihirli bir taş için mücadele etmektedir.

Ortasında, bu keşişin anısına 'Haedonggojingamseonsabi' yazıtı yer almaktadır.

Sınırsız güç sunan bu sihirli taş tamamen açmış olan lotus çiçeğinin tepesine yerleştirilmiştir.

Bu taş anıt ünlüdür, çünkü bu yazıt Birleşik Silla Hanedanlığı'nın son yıllarında temsilci yazar Choi Chiwon tarafından oluşturulmuş ve yazılmış.

Fırçanın doğal vuruşuyla yazıttaki harflerin hayat dolu olarak ifade edilmesinden Choi Chiwon'un ününü bir kez daha hissedebiliriz.

Her ne kadar kaplumbağa şekilli heykel tabanı, boynuzsuz dragon şeklindeki süslü tepesi olsa da pagoda gövdesinin sol tarafının tamamı aşınma sonucu kopan parçalar ve çatlaklardan mustariptir.

Dolayısıyla muhafaza etmemiz gereken çok değerli eski bir eserdir.

It is the tower monument for Jingamseonsa (a famous Buddhist monk at the end of the United Silla Dynasty).

He was the very man that introduced and widely popularized the Buddhist music, Beompae.

The monument was built in 887 after King Jeonggang (886∼887) in Silla Era highly valued his high morality and Buddhist power and founded Ssanggyesa Temple by repairing Okcheonsa Temple where Jingamseonsa cultivated his religious sense.

Though the monument body is damaged, the monument is equipped with the tortoise-shaped pedestal and an ornamental top in the form of hornless dragon.

According to the tower monument at the end of Silla Era, the pedestal was decorated with dragonhead shape, and the back has hexagonal designs like a tortoise back.

There is a large monument seat on the center of the tortoise back to insert the monument, and its four faces have cloud-design carvings.

The square core has severe cracks.

The figure of hornless dragons fighting for magic stone that bestows omnipotence is strongly expressed in the ornamental.

In the center, there is the inscription of 'Haedonggojingamseonsabi' in memory of the monk.

A magic stone that bestows omnipotence is placed on full-bloomed lotus flower at the top.

This stone monument is famous because the inscription was created and written by Choi Chiwon, representative writer at the end of the United Silla Dynasty.

From the lively expressed letters in the inscription with the natural flow of the brush, we can feel the fame of Choi Chiwon once again.

Though the tortoise-shaped pedestal, an ornamental top in the form of hornless dragon and the pagoda body are all completely left, they have been suffering from cracks and abrasion.

Therefore this is a precious relic that we should preserve.
