SK Wyverns, 2000 yılında kurulmuş Güney Koreli profesyonel bir beyzbol takımıdır. Merkezi Incheon, Munhak Beyzbol Stadyumu'dur. Başkanı Kim Sung-Keun'dur.

Incheon'da, 1982'de KBO açılışında kurulan ilk takım, Sammi Superstars takımıydı. Fakat takım 80 maçın yalnızca 15'ini kazandı ve başarısız oldu.
1985 yılında isim değiştirerek Cheongbo Pintos oldular. Bu yeni takım yalnızca iki yıl hüküm sürdü ve 88'de Taepyeongyang Dolphins adıyla yeniden değişti.
95 yılında ise güçlü şirketlerden Hyundai, takımı satın aldı ve ismini Hyundai Unicorns olarak değiştirdi.

2000 sezonunda Jeollabuk-do bölgesini temsil eden, Ssangbangwool Raiders takımı Ssangbangwool grubun iflasıyla dağılmıştı. KBO, bu gruba yardım etti. Ardından KBO, SK şirketinin haklarına sahip oldu. Grubun adı SK Wyverns olarak değişti.
Yani, Raiders ve Wyverns takımları, yeni takımın oyuncularının çoğu Raiders takımından oluşuyor olsa da tarihlerinde hiç aynı sahayı paylaşmamışlardır. Yine Raiders takımının Wyverns'e karşı üstünlük sağladığı da hiçbir kayda geçmemiştir.

2009'da SK şirketi, KBO sezonu ve Kore Serisi'nde KIA Tigers'a yenilerek ikinci sırada kaldı. Wyverns takımı ise 2010 Nisan ayı sonuna kadar 23 oyun kazandı. Bu, Kore Beysbol tarihinin en uzun liderlik dönemi olarak kayda geçti. Ve aynı zamanda dünya tarihinde de ikinci en uzun liderlikti.

SK Wyverns (Hangul: 에스케이 와이번스) is a South Korean professional baseball team founded in 2000. Based in Incheon, they play their home games at Munhak Baseball Stadium.
Their current manager is Kim Sung-Keun (김성근, 金星根).

History
The first team to represent Incheon was founded in the inaugural KBO season in 1982, and were known as the Sammi Superstars. The team was unsuccessful, winning just 15 games out of 80 in their first season. They changed ownership in 1985 and were known as the Cheongbo Pintos. This new incarnation lasted only two seasons and became the Taepyeongyang Dolphins in 1988. In 1995, the powerful conglomerate, Hyundai, bought the outfit and re-named them the Hyundai Unicorns.

In the 2000 season, the Ssangbangwool Raiders, a team that had previously represented the Jeollabuk-do region, was dissolved because of the bankruptcy of the Ssangbangwool Group, the teams owner, and its franchise was fortified by KBO. Then the KBO awarded a new franchise to the SK conglomerate. The name of the new franchise was determines to be the SK Wyverns. So the Raiders and the Wyverns has no historical links although the former Raiders players mostly consisted of the new team. Therefore, no historical records of the Raiders were succeeded to the Wyverns.

In 2009, However, SK remained runner-up position in the 2009 KBO season and 2009 Korean Series, which was defeated by KIA Tigers.
The Wyverns also had a 23 game winning streak that ended in April 2010. This is the longest winning streak in Korean Baseball, and the second longest in the world, after the New York Yankees.
