Seong Ilchulbong (Gündoğumu Zirvesi)

Seongsan Ilchul Parkı, Seongson yarımadasının sonunda, Jeju adasının 48 km doğusunda yer alır. Keskin kayalar üzerindeki büyük krater çimenli ova seklini ve krater üzerindeki 99 kayalı dağ zirvesi de büyük bir taç seklini oluşturur. Ilchulbong adı ünlü gündoğumu manzarasından gelir. İlk zamanlarda Seongsan Ilchulbong Pea'dan görülen harika gün doğumu manzarası, Jeju Adasındaki 10 manzaralı yerden en iyi manzaralı yer olarak seçilmişti.

Seongsan Ilchul Park is a 182 m high volcano at the end of the Seongsan peninsula, 48 km east of Jeju City. The huge crater on the sharp cliff forms a grassy plain and 99 rocky mountain peaks on top of the crater form a circle that looks like a massive crown. The name Ilchulbong comes from its famous view of the sunrise. Since early times, the wondrous scene of the sunrise from Seongsan Ilchulbong Pea had been chosen as the best out of 10 scenic spots in Jeju Island.
